Shah Pet Bottles Industries

At Shah Pet Bottles Industries, we spend our time in the Bawana Industrial Area. Our unit is L-47 in Sector-2, part of the Dsiidc layout. It’s a long way from the city center, but this is where all the manufacturing happens. We make plastic bottles of different sizes and shapes. The machines are pretty big and they make a lot of noise when they are blowing the plastic into the molds. There is always a faint smell of warm plastic in the air, which we don't even notice anymore after working here for so long. The Sector-2 area is always busy with trucks loading up finished goods. A small office is tucked into the corner of the shed where we keep our paperwork. Most of the floor is taken up by bags of raw plastic granules and stacks of finished bottles waiting to be shipped out. Usually, a crew of five or six people works the shifts to keep things moving. It’s not the cleanest job because of the dust and the heat from the machines, but it’s steady work. Many businesses have come and gone in Bawana, but we’ve managed to stay put at L-47. On rainy days, the roads around the Dsiidc can get a bit muddy, but the work inside doesn't stop. We just keep the machines running and make sure the bottles are coming out the right way without any leaks.
