Our office is located at Iii-A 28 Nehru Nagar in Ghaziabad. Being in Uttar Pradesh, we’re right in the middle of a lot of industrial activity and noise. Sevcon (India) isn't a place with a lot of decorations or fancy art on the walls. We have basic desks, some thick technical manuals, and maybe a few samples of components lying around. It’s a functional space designed for work, not for showing off. We spend our time dealing with orders and talking to clients on the phone throughout the day. Most of the talk is about technical specs, parts, and when things will be delivered. We don't have a marketing department to write stories about us. We just know our business inside and out. Some of the guys have been working here since the beginning. We’ve seen the seasons change in Ghaziabad, and the traffic on the main roads get much worse, but the core of our work stays pretty much the same. We try to be reliable. If we say we’re going to get a part to you, we do our best to make it happen. It’s not always glamorous or exciting. Sometimes it’s just a lot of checking lists and making sure the inventory matches what the computer says. We enjoy the routine of it all. It’s a local business that relies on being practical and staying focused on the job at hand without any distractions.
