You can find us over at 443/8 Durgapuri Extension in Delhi-93. This part of East Delhi is always humming with activity. The streets are narrow and there are always scooters and delivery trucks moving around. Our office for Semco India is tucked away in this neighborhood. It is a simple building, nothing too tall or modern. We use the space for everything from meetings to keeping our inventory records. It can get quite hot in the summer, so we have fans going all day long. The office itself is a bit cluttered because we have been here for some time and have collected a lot of files. We don't have a dedicated receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door usually answers it. Most of our work involves coordinating with people across the city. We spend hours on the phone or responding to emails. Durgapuri is a very practical place to be. You have everything you need within walking distance. We usually grab lunch from one of the local stalls nearby. It’s a very real, working-class environment. We don’t put on any acts here. We just show up, do our jobs, and try to keep things organized. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. It is just a regular office where we get things done for the company in the heart of Delhi.
