Rain Wipe Agencies

Rain Wipe Agencies is tucked away at K 85 Sector 3 in the DSIIDC Bawana Industrial Area. Being in Bawana means dealing with a lot of traffic and a lot of different sectors that all look the same if you are not careful. Our unit is a basic rectangular space filled mostly with boxes and packing materials. I spend a lot of time on the phone or walking around the warehouse floor checking on the stock. The walls are a plain grey, and we have some old calendars hanging up to keep track of the weeks. There is a specific smell to the air here, a mix of cardboard and plastic wrap. Sometimes the delivery drivers get lost looking for Sector 3, so we have to go out to the main corner to wave them down. It is not a quiet place, as there is always some truck reversing with that loud beeping sound nearby. We have a small sink in the back where we wash our hands, and the soap never quite gets all the grime off. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly so we can get back to the orders. The lighting is those long fluorescent tubes that flicker a bit before they stay on. It is a functional space without any unnecessary decorations. We just focus on getting the boxes moved and the paperwork signed so we can go home when the sun goes down.
