Punjab National Bank

If you head over to Sector 10 in Dwarka, you will see our building at Plot number 4. We are up on the 5th Floor in the B Wing. This particular spot is the Board Co-ordination Division for Punjab National Bank. It sounds a bit formal, but really, it’s just where a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff for the bank gets sorted out. We handle a lot of documents and make sure the meetings are organized. New Delhi can be a lot to handle with the heat and the crowds, but Dwarka is a bit more manageable once you get inside the office. Our desks are usually covered in files and folders because there is always something that needs to be filed or sent out. We have a good mix of people working here; some have been with the bank for decades and some are just starting out. We don’t have much time for fancy talk because there is always a deadline or a meeting to prepare for. It’s a lot of coordination work, making sure everyone is on the same page. We take our lunch breaks together when we can, usually talking about family or what’s on the news. It’s a steady job in a busy city. We try to keep things organized even when the paperwork starts piling up. It’s not a flashy lifestyle, just a regular day at the office helping the bank run its daily business.
