Sea International

Sea International is run out of 350, Nirman Apartment in Mayur Vihar, Phase 1 Extension. It’s more of an office-style setup here within the apartment building. We deal with various international bits and pieces, which usually means a lot of time spent on the computer or the telephone. Being in Mayur Vihar is nice because it’s a settled neighborhood, and it doesn't feel as frantic as some other parts of the city. We spend our mornings going through emails and checking on shipments that might be halfway across the world. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the numbers match up on the paperwork. Our office is pretty simple, just a few desks and some filing cabinets. We don't have a big staff, so everyone knows what the others are working on. Sometimes the courier guys are coming in and out all afternoon, which can get a bit loud in the hallway. We have been here at Nirman Apartment for a good while, and the neighbors are used to us by now. It isn't a flashy corporate headquarters, just a place where we sit down and get the business done every day. We don't go in for big mission statements; we just try to make sure everything gets where it needs to go without too much trouble. It's just a regular day-to-day operation for us here in the Phase 1 Extension area.
