Scientific Components

Scientific Components is tucked away on the third floor of the B-663 building over in the M.I.G. section of the D.D.A Flats. Being up here, away from the street level, makes things a bit quieter, which is nice when you’re trying to sort through a lot of small parts. We’ve been based here East of Loni Road for some time now. It’s not a huge office or anything, just a few rooms filled with boxes and desks. Most of our day is spent looking at lists and making sure the right items go into the right boxes. We don’t get a lot of random walk-ins because of being on the third floor, so it’s mostly just us doing our thing. The stairs can be a bit of a workout if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. We handle a lot of different components, so the space stays pretty cluttered. I usually spend my morning answering emails and then spend the rest of the day in the back room checking stock. It’s a bit cramped with all the shelving, but we know where everything is. Living and working around this part of town means we know the neighborhood pretty well. It’s a straightforward operation. We just focus on getting the orders out and keeping the paperwork straight. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late to finish up, but that’s just how it goes.
