Sawal Enterprises

Narang Colony in Tri Nagar is where we have been for years. Sawal Enterprises is located at 3576/4. This is a very old part of the city, and the lanes are quite narrow. You really have to know where you are going to find us. The building is a typical Delhi structure, old and a bit cramped. We use the space as best as we can. Most of the day is spent handling small goods and talking to the people who walk in. It’s a local business through and through. We know the shopkeepers next door and the people living upstairs. There’s a lot of noise from the street, vendors shouting and bikes passing by. We don’t have any fancy displays or a big showroom. It’s just shelves and counters. We do our own bookkeeping and cleaning. It keeps the costs down. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room for all the stuff we have, but we always find a corner for new stock. We aren't looking to expand into some big corporation. We just want to keep the shop running and serve the community around Tri Nagar. It’s a busy life, but it’s ours. We drink a lot of chai and just take the days as they come. It’s how things have always been here. We don't use computers much, just the old-fashioned way of doing things. It works for us and our customers.
