Satna Cement Works ( A Unit Of Birla Corporation Ltd. )

Our setup for Satna Cement Works, which is part of Birla Corporation Ltd, is a bit unusual because we operate out of O Block in Jaipuria Sunrise Greens. It is a residential complex in Indrapuram, Ghaziabad, so it does not feel like a typical cement office at all. You walk past people walking their dogs or kids playing to get to us. Inside, it is mostly just us sitting at desks with laptops, surrounded by files and the usual office clutter. Being in a place like Indrapuram means the commute is usually a bit of a nightmare with the U.P. traffic, but once you are here, it is relatively quiet compared to the actual factory sites. We handle the administrative side of things, making sure the paperwork for the cement works is all in order. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere, and the balcony gives us a view of the other towers in the complex. It is a strange mix of home life and big company business, but we have made it work for us over the last few years. The elevator is sometimes broken, so we end up taking the stairs, which is not great when you are carrying heavy folders. We don't have a big sign out front or anything like that. It is just a regular apartment where the work gets done, and we prefer it that way because it is less stressful than a corporate park.
