Satguru Electronics

We’ve been here at 1688-89/5-6 in Bhagirath Palace for quite a long time now. If you’ve ever walked through these lanes, you know how it gets, especially during the peak hours when everyone is looking for specific components or lights. Satguru Electronics isn't a big fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a busy spot where we keep a lot of stock on the shelves. Most days it’s just us trying to keep track of what came in and what’s going out to customers who usually know exactly what they need before they even step inside. The stairs are narrow and the space is tight but that’s just how things work in this part of Delhi. Sometimes the tea arrives cold because we’re busy finding a particular part for someone who’s travelled far to get here. We don't have a big team or a lot of paperwork. It is mostly just about knowing the inventory and making sure the counts are right. People come in, ask for something, and we check the back or the high shelves. It’s a lot of standing around and talking shop with regulars. There isn’t much to say about the decor because it’s mostly just boxes and wires everywhere. It gets dusty and loud outside but inside we just focus on the job at hand. We've seen the market change a lot over the years but our spot remains the same. It is just a place to get parts and move on.
