We run SAS Project & Mktg. Services pvt. Ltd. out of a small unit labeled L.U. 8 in Pitam Pura. It is not a huge or fancy office, but it is enough space for us to manage our daily projects. Pitam Pura is a very crowded area, so there is always some kind of noise or activity going on right outside our door. We handle a mix of marketing tasks and project coordination for various people who need help. Most of the day is spent sitting at the computer or making phone calls to different vendors. We have a few old wooden desks that we have had since the day we started this business. The carpet is getting a little thin in some places, but it does not really bother us. We like the local food stalls nearby, so lunch is usually something quick and spicy from the corner. It gets pretty hot in the office during the afternoons, so we keep the ceiling fans going at full speed. We do not have a big marketing budget for our own company; we mostly get new work through people we already know. It is a practical way to run things. Sometimes the internet connection acts up and we have to restart the router a couple of times. We just take it in stride and keep working. Our team is small, just a few of us who know the daily routine well.
