Gentron Power Centre

Our place, Gentron Power Centre, is tucked away at B F - 14 in Mohan Place, over in the L Scc Block of Saraswati Vihar. It is a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but once you find Mohan Place, we are not too hard to spot. We deal mostly with power equipment and batteries, so there is usually a lot of heavy stuff sitting around the floor. It is not the most organized looking shop, but we know where the important things are kept. The lighting in the back could be better, and the fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it is where we get the work done. We have been in Saraswati Vihar for quite a while now and know the other shop owners on the block. People come to us when their power backups fail or they need something sorted with their electrical setup. We are not interested in being a big corporate outlet; we are just a local spot where you can get practical advice and the right parts. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, other days everyone’s inverter seems to break at the same time and it is a madhouse. We just take it as it comes. It is a bit cramped when a big delivery arrives, and we have to shuffle everything around to make space. But we have made a decent living here and we plan to stay for as long as we can.
