Sanmati Wire

You can find Sanmati Wire over at Shahabad, specifically at Khasra No 753/1 inside House Number 4. It is not a very big place, just a workspace where we handle all the wire orders that come in. Most of the time, the floor is covered with coils and scraps because we are always cutting things to size. It gets pretty noisy when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We have been working out of this house for a bit now. It is a bit cramped, but it works for what we do. The neighbors know us by the sound of the metal clinking together throughout the day. We get all kinds of people stopping by, some looking for thick cables and others just needing a small roll for a quick fix at home. Loading the trucks is the hardest part since the street isn't very wide. We have to be quick about it so we don't block the way for everyone else. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. It’s a simple operation with just a few of us here. We keep track of everything in a thick notebook on the main table. It isn't anything fancy, just a local business trying to get the work done right. We usually lock up once the last order is loaded and head home for dinner.
