Saniya Bangles

Our little shop, Saniya Bangles, is situated in Vijay Mohalla, specifically in Gali 5 at 12- A/ 26. If you know Moujpur, you know how narrow these lanes can be, but it’s where all the action is. We spend most of our time surrounded by colors and glass. It is a small space, so we have to be careful where we step. We have been here for a good bit now and the neighbors all know us. It’s not a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. Just some shelves, some stools, and a lot of work to do. Every morning we open up the shutters and start sorting through the new stock that came in. Some days are slower than others, but there is always something to clean or organize. The light in the lane isn't always the best, so we have a couple of extra bulbs to see what we are doing. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We talk to the people who pass by and sometimes share a cup of tea. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. We don't do much advertising or anything because word of mouth in Moujpur usually does the trick. You just come down Gali 5 and you will find us easily enough by the number on the door. It gets loud when the schools let out, but otherwise, it is a decent place to spend the day.
