Sanitary House

We have been sitting here at shop 267 in Shivaji Market for quite a long time now. It’s a busy spot in Pitampura and there is always something going on outside the door. Most days we are just moving stacks of tiles or checking if the taps we ordered actually showed up on the truck. People come in looking for a specific type of sink or a pipe that won’t leak, and usually, we have to dig through the back to find it. The shop gets a bit dusty with all the ceramic and stone around, but that is just how it is when you deal with sanitary items. My father started this and now I’m here most mornings before the tea stall even opens. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights, just rows of toilets and washbasins that people need for their houses. Sometimes the traffic in Pitampura makes it hard for deliveries to get here on time, which is frustrating for everyone. We spend a lot of time talking to local plumbers who know exactly what they want and don’t like to wait. It is not glamorous work by any means. You get dirty hands and you spend half your life looking at price lists that keep changing. But we know the people around here and they know where to find us when a bathroom renovation is going wrong. It’s just a regular business doing regular things day in and day out.
