Sandip Emporiam

We’ve been here at G - 110 in New Seelampur for a while now. It’s just a regular shop where we keep different kinds of things people need. Most days it gets pretty busy around here because of the location. Sandip Emporiam isn't anything fancy, just a local spot. My father started things out and now we just keep it going. We handle the daily stock and make sure things are on the shelves. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get new deliveries in, but we manage. You’ll see us opening up early most mornings. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to fit a lot of inventory in a small space. We deal with various suppliers around Delhi. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but we stayed in the same spot. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything. We don't have a big team, just a few of us working together. If you walk down the main lane in Seelampur, you’ll find us easily enough. We try to keep prices fair so people keep coming back. It is just a simple way to make a living. Nothing more to it than that. We spend most of our day talking to regulars and sorting through boxes. It gets dusty sometimes but that’s just how it is. We aren't looking to get rich, just doing our thing.
