Our place is at Baba Ji Niwas, which is M.M.A / 7 in the A.D.A. Colony. It’s tucked away in Naini, not far from the Ramlila Maidan in Allahabad. When there’s a festival or an event at the Maidan, the whole area gets incredibly packed, but on a normal Tuesday, it’s just a standard residential street. The office is basically a house. You won’t see any massive corporate logos on the roof. We just have our desks set up inside and a few chairs for when people stop by. The fans hum all day because Naini gets really dusty and hot. Sometimes the mail gets delivered to the neighbor by mistake because the house numbering in this colony is a little confusing for new couriers. We’ve got a small area out front where we park the motorbikes. It’s a quiet life here for the most part. Most of the staff comes in from different parts of Allahabad, so the morning is full of talk about the traffic on the bridge. We don't have a canteen, so we usually just bring tiffins or go to the small tea stall down the road. It’s a simple setup for a joint venture, mostly focused on the paperwork and coordination needed for the projects. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There is no lobby or fancy elevator, just a door you walk through to get to work. We like it that way.
