We’ve been over here in Samaypur Gali No. 8 for a while now. It’s mostly about making different kinds of narrow fabrics, tapes, and elastics. Sometimes the machines are loud, but we get the work done. People usually come to us when they need something specific for bags or clothes. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular workshop where we handle rolls of material every day. My brother and I started this because we knew the trade. It gets dusty in the summer, but we keep the stock moving. We don't have a big office or anything. Most of the time we are just checking the looms or talking to the guys who deliver yarns. It's a small street, so finding us can be a bit tricky if you aren't looking. We just focus on making sure the weaves are tight and the colors are what they're supposed to be. There’s always stuff piled up around the entrance. We try to organize it, but work keeps coming in. It’s a busy spot. If you walk down Gali No. 8, you’ll probably hear the clicking of the machines before you see the sign. It’s just how we do things here. Nothing too complicated, just making fabrics and making sure the orders go out on time. Sometimes we run late, but the quality usually stays decent enough that folks come back. We keep it simple and just keep the production running.
