People in Malviya Nagar know the struggle with termites and those damp spots that ruin the paint on the walls. We are up here on the third floor of H-3 in Panchsheel Vihar. It’s a busy spot. Most days, we are out at someone’s house looking at a basement that’s leaking or trying to figure out where the ants are coming from. Delhi weather doesn't help much. The heat makes the bugs crazy and then the rain brings the seepage. We just go about our business day by day. Sometimes the stairs to the office feel like a lot after a long day of work. It is not fancy here. There are files on the desks and buckets of waterproofing stuff in the corner. We talk to people, tell them what needs doing, and then we do it. No big speeches or promises. Just fixing things so people can sleep without worrying about their ceiling dripping or their wooden cabinets getting eaten. It’s dusty work most of the time. We have been in this part of Delhi for a while now. You get to know the neighbors. Someone always needs a drain looked at or a kitchen sprayed. We keep the equipment ready in the back. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. If the phone rings, we answer it. If we are out on a job, we get back to you later. That is how it goes here. We try to keep things simple for everyone involved.
