The Bride Gallery

The Bride Gallery is located at B-3/1 in Safdarjung Enclave. It’s a nice part of Delhi, with a bit more green and a little less chaos than the main market areas. We operate out of a space that feels more like a home than a shop sometimes. There are racks of dresses everywhere, and the mirrors take up a lot of the wall space. It’s often a bit cluttered because we always have something being pinned or adjusted. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us who know how to handle a needle and thread. When someone comes in, they usually find us in the middle of a fitting or sorting through lace and silk. It can get a bit hectic during the wedding season, with pins everywhere and everyone moving quickly to meet deadlines. We don't use a lot of fancy sales talk. We just show people what we have and try to help them find something that fits right. The lighting inside is a bit soft to make everything look better, but the back room where the real work happens is bright and full of half-finished projects. It’s a small, local business and we like it that way. We get to know the people who walk through our door, and sometimes they even bring us sweets after their big day is over. It’s a lot of work but seeing the finished clothes makes it okay.
