You can find us at Shop No-32 inside the Swadeshi Market, which is quite close to Baskse Gali in the Parvat Patia area. This market is always packed with people and the lanes are very narrow, so it gets pretty hot and sticky during the summer months. We have piles of clothes and fabric rolls stacked up against the walls of the shop. Sometimes it feels like there is barely enough room to move around when we get a new shipment in. We usually start the day by sweeping the floor and rearranging the front display so it looks a bit tidy. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, but we have a couple of tube lights that do the job. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us while they are walking through the market looking for things. Parvat Patia is a hub for this kind of stuff, so there is always something happening outside. We drink a lot of tea from the stall across the way to keep ourselves going throughout the long afternoons. The metal shutters on the shop are heavy and they make a lot of noise when we close up for the night. Our neighbor in shop 33 usually leaves at the same time as us. It is just a typical market life for us, dealing with the daily rush and the constant flow of goods coming through the Gali.
