L. Chuni Lal Surender Kumar Light

We are right on the Main Road in Sadar Bazaar, at number 5775. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know how crowded it gets. There’s always people moving and trucks trying to get through the narrow gaps. L. Chuni Lal Surender Kumar Light has been part of this chaos for a long time. Our shop is filled with all sorts of lighting things. It’s a bit of a maze inside with boxes piled up and wires here and there. We don't really have a big showroom. It’s more of a warehouse and shop combo. The name is a bit long, but it’s just who we are. Some of the bulbs we have have been on the shelves for a bit, while others move out the door the same day they arrive. Working in Sadar Bazaar means you have to be quick. You can’t really sit around much. We deal with all kinds of customers, from people looking for one specific bulb to others buying in bulk. It’s noisy and dusty outside, but inside we just focus on what’s in front of us. We aren't trying to be modern or anything like that. We just keep the lights on and keep working. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even when things get stressful during the festival seasons. We just try to get the orders right and move on to the next one, day after day.
