Dankeen Machine Tools

We’re located at No. 5026/5 on Westend Street. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but it suits us just fine. Dankeen Machine Tools has been around for a bit, and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years. We handle tools and machinery, so the place isn't always the cleanest, but we know where every wrench and part is kept. It’s a hands-on kind of job. We don’t spend much time sitting in fancy chairs; most of the time we’re on our feet in the back or talking to someone who stopped by with a question about a specific part. We’re not the type to use big words to describe what we do. If a machine needs a part or a tool needs fixing, we look at it and see what can be done. It’s straightforward work. The shop can get a bit loud when everything is running, but that’s just part of the atmosphere here. We’ve got a small team and we’ve all been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get things moving. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to Westend Street for years. We just keep doing what we know how to do. There’s no magic to it, just a lot of grease and some hard work every day. We keep some old catalogs on the shelf just in case someone asks for a part from twenty years ago. It happens more than you'd think.
