S. R. Plastic

S. R. Plastic is located at 2098/22 in the Atma Ram Market. This is over in the Chah Indara area of Bhagirath Palace. Just like the rest of this neighborhood, it’s a very hectic place to work. We deal with a lot of plastic goods, so the shop is always filled with the smell of new materials and rows of items ready to go. The Atma Ram Market is a maze of small shops and narrow hallways. Our unit isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got shelves crammed with all sorts of things. Every morning starts with opening up the shutters and moving some of the stock so there’s room to stand. It’s a lot of physical work, moving crates and organizing the inventory. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. We get all kinds of people coming through the doors, from locals to traders from out of town. The area around Chah Indara is always buzzing with activity. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, but we just take it in stride. It’s a simple business. We sell plastic, we talk to our neighbors, and we try to keep things moving. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We are just here in Bhagirath Palace, doing our bit every day.
