S R K Interior is located in Shakarpur, specifically in the School Block at A-146B. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of narrow lanes and people moving about. Our space is tucked away, and it’s where all the planning happens. We have a lot of catalogs and fabric swatches piled up on the tables. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in color palettes and floor plans. The team is just a handful of us who like making spaces look better. We don’t use any big words or complicated jargon when we talk about our work. We just look at a room and figure out what fits. Shakarpur has a certain energy to it, and we’re right in the middle of it. The school nearby means it’s noisy in the afternoons, but we don't mind the sound of kids playing. Our office is a bit cramped because we keep so many samples on hand. We’ve thought about moving to a bigger place, but we like it here. It feels like home. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or drawing up ideas on the computer. We aren't a big firm with a fancy lobby. We’re just a local business trying to do honest work for people in our community. That’s really all there is to it. We keep our tea kettle hot and our pencils sharpened, ready for whatever the next project brings.
