You can find S B Electric Company right in the middle of Bhagirath Palace in Chandni Chowk. Our shop number is 1831. If you know the area, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes are. It’s a historic market for electrical goods, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. The shop is small and packed to the ceiling with switches, wires, and lighting fixtures. It’s a bit of a squeeze when customers come in, but we manage. We don’t have a lot of space for fancy displays, so things are stacked where they fit. Usually, you’ll find us shouting over the noise of the crowd to talk to a supplier or a buyer. It’s chaotic but that is just how Chandni Chowk works. We open up early and stay late most days. The air is always thick with the smell of old buildings and street food. We don’t use a computer for everything; a lot of our notes are still on paper pads. People come to us because they know we carry the specific parts they can't find elsewhere. We aren't trying to be a modern showroom. We’re a traditional electrical shop in a very old part of Delhi. It’s loud, it’s busy, and it’s where we do our business every single day. If you can navigate the rickshaws, you’ll find us at 1831. Just look for the boxes piled up outside near the door.
