Ruby Bus is located at 2125 Vinobabhavenagar in Ahmedabad. It is an area with a lot of industrial activity and small workshops. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the place has a lot of history for us. You’ll see plenty of buses and large vehicles around because that’s what we deal with every day. The yard is usually dusty, and there’s always the sound of tools clanking or engines starting up. Our office is a small part of the overall site, filled with old metal cabinets and stacks of logbooks. The heat in Ahmedabad can be brutal, so by midday, the whole place feels like an oven. We usually take a long break when the sun is at its peak. The team here is a mix of mechanics and office staff who have worked together for years. We don’t have a glossy brochure or a fancy website. If someone needs to know about our bus bodies or repairs, they just walk in and ask. We have tea together in the mornings while we plan out the day’s work. There are always spare parts and tires lying around the edges of the property. It is a busy, noisy, and honest place to work. We just focus on keeping the fleet moving and making sure the structures we build are solid enough for the road. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it.
