We have got our office based in Pitam Pura, specifically on the second floor of GD-191. Delhi is an absolutely huge city, but Pitam Pura has its own very specific rhythm and feel. Being up on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is usually quite busy with shoppers and traffic. It is a very typical urban workspace. We do not have a lift in this building, so we all get plenty of exercise walking up and down the stairs several times every day. The office itself is one of those places that feels very practical and lived-in. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that have certainly seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for us. There is almost always a lot of chatter and noise coming from the nearby shops and the cars outside. We keep all our files organized in large metal cabinets that line the walls of the main room. It is not a minimalist environment by any stretch of the imagination. We have things piled up wherever they happen to fit. We mostly focus on the tasks at hand and try not to get too distracted by the noise from the street. Most of us have been working together here for years, so we have settled into a very steady routine. We handle the paperwork and the technical side of things without making a big deal.
