Pack Apex

Our place is at Plot No. 34 in Badli Village. It’s right near the Bank of Baroda and not far from the Shivalaya Mandir. We do a lot of packaging work here, so there is always cardboard and tape everywhere. You can hear the sound of packing tape being pulled all day long. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but it’s quieter than being in the main city. We have a lot of space in the shed for the materials. The temple nearby is a nice landmark for people trying to find us. Sometimes the cows from the village wander near the entrance. We have to shoo them away so the trucks can get in. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have fancy furniture, just some sturdy tables and a few chairs that have seen better days. The roof is made of tin, so it’s really loud when it rains. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep the energy up. Everyone here knows how to pack a box perfectly. It’s a skill you just pick up after doing it a thousand times. We drink water from a big earthen pot because it stays cool that way. It’s honest work and we stay busy from morning till the sun goes down over the village. We finish our tea and get back to the stacks of boxes that need to go out by tonight.
