Roda Jewellery House

Roda Jewellery House is tucked away in Karol Bagh, specifically up on the 3rd floor of building number 3304. Being in Beadon Pura means there is always noise from the street below, but once you get up those stairs to shop number 5/26, it gets a little bit quieter. It is not a massive place, just a regular workspace where we handle a lot of different pieces every day. People find us even though we are not on the ground floor, mostly because they know we have been in this building for a long time. The walk up can be a bit much when it is hot outside, but we have the fans going inside to keep things comfortable enough. We spend most of our mornings organizing the drawers and making sure everything is where it should be. The work involves a lot of looking through small magnifying glasses and handling tiny stones or metal links. Karol Bagh is always moving, and you can hear the horns and the shouting from the market even from the third floor. We keep the counters tidy, though there’s usually a bit of paperwork scattered near the back desk. It is a simple setup with some old chairs for people to sit on while they wait for a repair or look at a necklace. We just do our work and keep the shop running like it always has for the local crowd.
