Robbins Tunneling

We've been doing this tunneling work for quite a while now under the name Robbins Tunneling. It is mostly about getting underground and making sure the paths are clear for whatever needs to go through there. Most days involve heavy machinery and a lot of dirt, which is just how the job goes. We don't really have a fancy office setup with people in suits, it’s more about the guys out on the site making sure the drills are working right. Sometimes things go smooth and other times we hit some tough rock that slows everything down. That's just part of the deal when you work beneath the surface. We started out small and stayed focused on the actual digging part of the business. You won’t find us doing much advertising because the work usually speaks for itself when a project gets finished on time. We keep our gear in good shape because breaking down in the middle of a tunnel is a real headache. It is hard work and it gets messy, but there is something satisfying about seeing a tunnel finally connect from one side to the other. If you are looking for us, we are usually out where the machines are running. We handle the day to day stuff ourselves and try to keep things simple. No big corporate meetings here, just a lot of planning for the next stretch of earth we need to move. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we stick to what we know.
