Riken Pharmaceuticals is located over in Modern Shahadra, specifically at 4649/147 E on Street Number 6. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to how the local streets are laid out. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite a while now. Since we are in the pharmaceutical line, the back areas have to be kept pretty clean and organized, but the office side is still just a bunch of people working at simple desks. We handle a lot of the logistics and inventory for various medicines. It’s serious work because people rely on what we do to get their supplies on time. Every morning we check the stock levels and see what needs to go out to the distributors. The street outside can get a bit clogged with delivery vans and scooters, especially in the late afternoons. We know all the drivers by their first names. Sometimes we have to stay a little late to finish up the logs for the day, but mostly we stick to a regular schedule. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of checking labels and moving boxes around. We have a small tea station in the corner where we take our breaks and talk about the news. The neighborhood is mostly residential and small businesses, so it feels quite local and friendly. We don't spend any money on big ads or billboards. We just focus on getting the right products to the shops that need them.
