Resident Engineer

We've been based out of B68 here at the NTPC township in Dadri for a while now. It’s mostly about keeping the engineering side of things running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Being on-site means we’re always around when something needs a look, whether it’s a small fix or a bigger project issue. Life here in Uttar Pradesh follows a certain rhythm, especially when you're working so close to the power plant. We don't really do the whole fancy office thing. It’s more about having a desk, some tools, and getting the job done without much fuss. Most days involve walking between the site and the office, checking plans, and talking to the crews. People know where to find us if there’s a technical problem. It’s not a big corporate setup, just us handling the Resident Engineer duties as they come up. Sometimes the weather gets rough, or deadlines get tight, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We’ve lived in this area long enough to know the local quirks and how to navigate them. It is a practical life, really. We focus on the work right in front of us.
