Reliance Energy Limited

This part of Reliance Energy Limited used to be known as BSES, but names change and now we are here. We share some space or work alongside L&T over here in Nagpur. It is an interesting setup having two big names in the same general area. The Nagpur office is where we spend most of our time dealing with energy matters. It is a big responsibility but we don’t talk about it in fancy terms. We just show up and see what needs fixing or updating for the day. The building is solid and has that old school feel to it which I personally like. We have some long-time staff who remember when things were different under the BSES banner. They tell stories about the old days while we sit and have lunch. Nagpur gets really hot in the summer months so we are thankful for the fans in the office. Our daily routine is mostly about checking logs and making sure the energy distribution is going where it should. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We are just a local team doing the work that needs to be done. It's not a glamorous life but it's our life. We have a lot of paperwork to get through every week and we just take it one pile at a time. The office is usually humming with the sound of computers and old air conditioners. We stay busy and don't complain much about the workload.
