Relco Industries

Relco Industries is tucked away in Pathan Pura, which is inside Bada Bazar in Shahdara. If you know the area, you know it’s extremely crowded and the lanes are very narrow. We’ve been at 439 for a long time now. It’s a traditional market area, so there’s always people shouting and handcarts moving around. We do all our manufacturing right here in the middle of all that chaos. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get raw materials in and out of the bazar, especially on Mondays. We make various industrial items. Our workspace is packed with tools, benches, and raw materials. It’s an old building, so it has a lot of character, and maybe a few leaks in the roof when it pours rain. We don't have a fancy showroom for people to visit. Most of our customers already know where to find us. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and assembling parts. It's a lot of hands-on work. We have a small team of workers who are basically like family now. We eat our lunch together and complain about how hot it gets in the summer. It’s just how we do things here. We don't use big words to describe our work. We just make things that other people need for their own businesses. Shahdara is a tough place to work sometimes because of the congestion and noise, but it’s home for us. We just keep the machines running and the orders moving.
