Rehala Umbrella

We are located at 473-A in Bartan Market, which is right in the middle of Sadar Bazar. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets. There’s always someone pushing a cart or shouting about prices. We’ve been selling umbrellas here for quite some time. The shop is small and packed from floor to ceiling with umbrellas of every size. When it starts raining, the whole market goes crazy and everyone wants one at the same time. We spend those days just handing them out and taking cash as fast as we can. When it’s dry, we spend our time fixing broken ribs or replacing handles. It’s a lot of fiddly work with small parts. Our hands are usually a bit stained from the fabric dyes. We don't have a fancy business plan. We just buy umbrellas and sell them. Sometimes we get a shipment that isn't quite right, and we have to deal with that too. It’s loud and dusty in the market, but we like the energy of the place. You meet all kinds of people in Sadar Bazar. We don't bother with fancy displays or lighting. We just pile the stock up and let people pick what they want. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it has worked for us for years. We just keep our heads down and keep working, rain or shine. That's the way it goes here.
