If you head over to Vasant Kunj Sector D 3, you’ll find us tucked away at Red Wok. It’s been our home for a while now. Running a place like this isn’t always easy. There are mornings when the deliveries are late or the sink gets clogged, and we have to scramble to get everything fixed before the first person walks in. We aren't some big corporate chain with a manual for everything. It’s just us, the staff, trying to make things work. The kitchen is where most of the action happens. It’s loud with the sound of clanking metal and water running. We know a lot of the people who live nearby. They stop in for a quick bite or just to say hello while they’re out running errands. Vasant Kunj is a busy place, but Sector D 3 has its own little rhythm. We try to keep up with it. Sometimes we run out of something on the menu and have to tell people we’re sorry. It happens. We just try to be honest about it. The tables are a bit worn down in places, but they’ve held a lot of meals and conversations. Red Wok isn’t about being flashy. It’s about the daily grind of cooking and serving. We spend more time here than we do at our own houses. It’s just what we do every day.
