Real Overseas

Our office is at 24 North Avenue in Punjabi Bagh West. It’s a nice enough spot, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare on the weekends. Real Overseas is really just a bunch of us working through paperwork and logistics. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at shipping schedules. The building has been here for years, and we’ve tried to keep it in decent shape. There’s a small kitchen in the back where we all make our tea and talk about whatever happened on the news. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to tell us how to sound professional. We just talk like we always do. Most of our day is spent making sure stuff gets from one place to another without getting lost. It involves more phone calls than you’d think. Sometimes things get delayed and we have to scramble to fix it. That's just how the industry goes. We don't pretend to be some giant conglomerate. We’re a local business and we value the people we work with. The desks are usually covered in post-it notes and old invoices. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We like being in this part of town because it feels lived-in and real. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day to keep things moving.
