R.D. Stores is located right in the middle of Fatehpuri, at number 6504. If you know the area, you know how crowded and lively it gets every single day. We’ve been operating from this same spot for quite a while now. It’s a small space, packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of goods. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything. Instead, we have shelves that go up high and we use a ladder more often than not. Working in Fatehpuri means you see all kinds of people coming through. It is loud, it is fast, and there is never a dull moment. We just focus on getting through the daily list of customers and keeping the inventory somewhat sorted. It’s hard to keep things neat when you have so many items in such a tight area. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. People find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them where we were. The building is old, and it has that specific smell of old paper and stock that’s been sitting for a bit. We open early because that’s when the market starts moving. It’s just an honest living in a very busy part of the city. We do our best to help whoever walks through the door and needs something from our shelves. It gets dusty and hot in the afternoons, but that is just how things are around here.
