Our office for RBS Group Of Companies is at A-299 in the Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase 1. It’s a typical industrial building in a part of Delhi that’s always moving. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the estate change quite a bit. We do a mix of things here, mostly related to manufacturing and industrial services. The ground floor is usually where the heavy stuff happens, and we have some office space upstairs for the management side. It’s not a very pretty building, but it’s functional and sturdy. We have a lot of workers who come in from nearby areas every morning. The traffic in Okhla is pretty bad, so we usually try to get an early start to avoid the worst of it. We don’t have any polished brochures or a fancy reception desk. You’ll usually find someone drinking chai or checking a manifest near the entrance. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. The atmosphere is pretty informal; we all know each other and just get on with the tasks at hand. Sometimes the power goes out, or a delivery is late, and we just deal with it. That’s just how life is in the industrial estate. We’re a practical group of people who know our business and stick to what we know. It’s a straightforward way to work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
