Our workshop, Rashmi Plasti Coat Industries, is located at H-35 A in Kirti Nagar. If you’ve been around this part of the city, you know it’s an area where a lot of making and fixing happens. We focus on plastic coating, which is a lot of prep work and then making sure the finish is even. It’s a job that requires a lot of patience because the surfaces have to be just right before you even start. The shop floor is usually busy with items waiting to be treated. We’ve got our ovens and our dipping tanks, and it can get quite warm in there, especially in the afternoons. We aren't wearing fancy uniforms or sitting in air-conditioned offices. Most of us have some coating or paint on our work clothes by the end of the shift. Kirti Nagar is a good base for us because everything we need is close by. We’ve seen other shops come and go, but we just keep doing what we do. There’s no big secret to it; you just have to pay attention to the details and not take shortcuts. We handle all sorts of parts, some small and some quite bulky. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes trying to fit everything into the schedule, but we manage to get it done. It’s just a solid, local operation where we put in the hours and go home. We don't have a big sales team, just the guys doing the work.
