Ras Flexitubes Co. is located on the first floor at 4969/1 in Sirkiwalan, right in the heart of Hauz Qazi. If you know this area, you know how tight the lanes are and how much energy is constantly moving through the streets. It is one of those old parts of the city where every building has a history. Our space is functional. We have our tools and our materials spread out where they need to be. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially when we are moving heavy stuff, but we are used to it by now. The air is often filled with the smell of metal and the sounds of the market downstairs. We spend our days measuring things, cutting materials, and making sure the flexitubes are ready for whoever needs them. It’s dusty and loud, but it’s our workplace. We don't have a lot of space for extra stuff, so everything has its specific spot. The people working here have been doing this for a long time. We don't worry about looking fancy for visitors. We just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes it gets overwhelming with all the orders, but we just take it one step at a time. It is a very practical way to live. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same.
