Madaan Bag House

We've been here at No. 729/ 6 in the Rishi Nagar Main Market for a while now. It's a busy spot in Rani Bagh, right near Shakur Basti. People come in looking for all sorts of bags, maybe for school or travel. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. Dealing with zippers and handles all day is just part of the job. Some days are quiet, others the market is packed. We just keep the shelves stocked and help whoever walks through the door. It gets dusty sometimes with all the traffic outside. You know how it is in this part of Delhi. We just try to keep things organized so people can find what they need without a fuss. We've seen the neighborhood change over the years. My family has spent a lot of time here. It’s mostly just about having the right bag for the right person. If someone needs a sturdy backpack or a small purse, they usually stop by here. We don't do much fancy stuff. Just regular bags for regular people. The lighting in the back is a bit dim, but we know where everything is. We’ve got rows of different materials, from canvas to some synthetic stuff. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the front door when it’s heavy, so we have to move everything back. It’s just one of those things you deal with. We don't have a big team, just a few of us.
