It’s full of life and noise all day long. We’ve been tucked away in this spot for many years, dealing with all kinds of aluminium products. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with metal—sheets, extrusions, you name it. It’s not a showroom where everything is polished; it’s a working warehouse where things get moved around constantly. The walls have seen better days, and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings or dust. We’re just a small crew here. Most of us have been in the aluminium trade since we were young. We don't use fancy sales pitches. If a customer comes in, we just show them what we have in stock and tell them the price. It’s a very direct way of doing business. The neighborhood is a bit of a maze, but once you find Street No. 2, we’re easy to spot. We spend our time cutting metal to size and loading up rickshaws or small trucks. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot, but it’s what we know. We’re just local people running a metal business in a very busy part of Delhi. It’s a bit chaotic with all the traffic, but we manage to get the metal out to the customers who need it.
