Our place is at C-1/51 on the ground floor of Sanjay Enclave. Being in Uttam Nagar, it’s always a bit of a squeeze with the traffic and people everywhere. The ground floor location is helpful because we don't have to carry heavy equipment up any stairs. It’s a basic setup. We have a front area where we meet people and a back area where most of the actual work happens at R. K. ELECTRA SYSTEMS. The enclave is mostly residential, so we have to be mindful of the noise sometimes. We’ve been here for a while and the walls are covered with various charts and notes we’ve stuck up over time. It’s not the most modern office, but it works for what we do. We have a small corner for making tea and that’s where we spend our breaks. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town, which is a bit ironic for an electrical-related place, but we just wait it out. The neighbors are mostly friendly. We don't do any big advertising. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people just walking by and seeing the sign. It’s a practical way to run things. We keep the shutters halfway down when it’s too hot outside. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily tasks. We don't have a fancy reception desk or any air conditioning, just a couple of sturdy fans that keep the air moving on summer days.
