Pytex Hosiery Mills

Our workplace is located at A-9 in the Gd-itl Nortex Tower. We are right in the middle of the bustle at Netaji Subhash Place, near the Ring Road in Pitampura. Being in a tower means we see a lot of different people coming and going. Our space is dedicated to our hosiery business. It’s mostly desks and shelves filled with different types of socks and knitwear samples. We spend our days talking to suppliers and making sure the production is moving along somewhere else. It’s a lot of coordination. The office doesn't have much in the way of art on the walls. We just have calendars and some charts. It’s a practical space. We don't have a big corporate feel. It’s just a small team of us. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes to eat for lunch. Usually, we order in from the places downstairs. The noise from the Ring Road is something you just get used to after a week or two. It becomes like background noise. We don't use any fancy software to track things, just some old-fashioned ledgers and some basic computer files. It works for us. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to make sure the hosiery we handle is made okay and gets where it needs to go. Sometimes the lights flicker but we just ignore it and keep working. It’s just how it is.
