Pwc

Our place is in the School Block of Shakarpur, over at S-540 A. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, and there is always something going on outside the window. We go by Pwc, but we aren't some massive global firm with thousands of people. We are just a small group working out of this office. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of folders and papers stacked up, but we know where everything is. Mostly, we spend our time on the phones or typing away. The street outside is narrow, so parking is always a headache for us. We usually just take the metro or walk. It is a very normal office life. We don't have a canteen or a break room. We just eat lunch at our desks or go to the little shop around the corner. The walls are a plain off-white color and the floor is tile. It’s practical and easy to clean. We’ve been in Shakarpur for a bit now, so we know the local shops and the people who work nearby. We don't try to sound like we are from a skyscraper. We are just here doing our daily work, managing our accounts, and trying to stay on top of the paperwork. It’s not glamorous, but it is our job. We just keep our heads down and get it done. It feels good to finish a pile of tasks by evening.
