Our place is right in Zakir Nagar, specifically at House No. 529 on the top floor. It is Street Number 06. If you have ever been to Okhla, you know how narrow those lanes can get sometimes. We have been here in New Delhi for a bit. It’s a crowded area but there is a lot of energy. Being on the top floor means we get a bit of a breeze when it isn't too hot. We do our daily work here. It is mostly stuff related to construction and getting things organized. It is not a very big office. We have just enough room for the desks and the files we need to keep track of. People come by mostly to talk about ongoing work or pick up papers. The stairs are a bit steep but you get used to it. The neighborhood has a lot of small shops and food places nearby. We usually grab tea from the stall down the street. It’s a practical location for us because it is near our project sites in the city. We don't have a receptionist or anything. One of us just answers the door when someone knocks. It’s a straightforward way to run things. We focus on the tasks at hand. Every morning starts with a quick check on what needs to be done. Then we just get to it. That is how it goes every day at Street 06. It is nothing fancy, just a room where we stay busy.
