We are located in the heart of the Shabi Market at Mori Gate, specifically at 3682/41. If you know Kashmere Gate, you know how incredibly crowded and noisy it gets around here. Our space is right in the middle of all that chaos. We work with various types of foam and flexible materials, so there are usually stacks of products reaching all the way to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze inside, and you have to be careful not to trip over the bundles waiting to be moved. The lanes outside are too narrow for big trucks, so we rely on rickshaws and small tempos to get our goods in and out. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and manual labor, especially when the weather is humid. We don't have a fancy reception area; customers usually just walk right into the middle of the workspace to talk to us. The sound of horns and shouting from the market is constant, but it becomes background noise after a while. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting things to size based on what people need. It’s a dusty environment, and we are usually covered in some kind of lint by the end of the shift. We’ve been in this market for years, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we just keep doing our thing. It's not a glamorous life, but it's what we know. We close the shutters late most nights. It is always the same.
