We are based on the third floor of F-15 in Abul Fazal Enclave-2, which is part of the Shaheen Bagh area in Delhi. It’s a long walk up those three flights of stairs, especially when it’s hot outside. The office is right in the thick of a very busy neighborhood. There’s always the sound of people and motorcycles outside. We do infrastructure work, which means our day is filled with talking to engineers and checking on site progress. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. We have some old wooden desks and a few fans that hum all day long. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit for a meeting. We don't try to impress anyone with big offices or expensive furniture. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us. Shaheen Bagh is a place with a lot of energy, and we try to bring that into our work too. We’ve had some good years and some tough ones, but we are still here doing what we do. There’s no big secret to how we work; we just show up and put in the hours. It’s a practical, local operation that fits right into this part of Delhi. We just deal with things as they come and try to keep our paperwork in order for the inspectors.
